Just finished Annihilation Conquest omnibus. It was very good. I give it 4 out of 5 Infinity Gauntlets

I bet I don't even wanna know what you paid if that's a better price!

Right? That's what I was thinking. Seems like the McFarlane name alone is still trying to command a price.

Definitely. This is more along the lines of a TPB than an omni IMO, especially standing next to that ASM omni.

I had this same issue with the Secret Wars Omni - so small yet they were asking $100. Priced out it would be easier and way cheaper to get the single issues. Most of those being easy to track down and affordable. The only exception being #8
I see this a lot lately with the trades - priced at $40 for a lot of books found in the dollar bins. I like the Omni format but only when it makes sense financially.

Nope. I bought the Master of Kung Fu Omni 1.2,3 which I have as books. I bought Annihilation which I have, Planet Hulk, Byrne's FF 1 & 2, Siminson's Thor, Werewolf by Night & ManThing all of which I own the original books on. I'm sure there's more. My comics are in long boxes which can be a p.i.a. to pull & sort thru, I like the onmi to not only geek-display, but to just slide out on a rainy Sunday or a bourbon Saturday & just read. Don't get me started on the ppbk Essentials.

Nope! I own the whole Witchblade and Darkness run but have the compendiums too. I also have all of the Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose TPB's, but only because I missed out on issues 1-30 and didn't want to pay the inflated eBay prices for them. If you like a story arc/or characters enough, ain't no shame in owning different versions of it!
