On network tv, yeah I'd agree, but with cable channels and premium channels consistently putting out quality original programming I think the bar has been significantly raised for television as a whole.

I agree. Those are the shows I tend to watch 95% of the time.

IMO they have already killed a lot of what makes this character cool in the watered down "main stream DC" version they are using in the comics at the moment. This character really came into his own sucking on the teat of Vertigo. It is sad we have no more Vertigo stories to look forward to - at least for the moment.

Didn't watch the leak but did catch it when it premiered this week. It was boring. Might stick around for 1 more episode just to see if it goes anywhere.

I think that Matt Ryan makes a great John Constantine, but that's the only thing I like about this show. The writing is awful, I can't stand how Chas is portrayed, and if we're just going to get John and friends crossing America to fight the forces of darkness, then it's going to get really old really fast. Two episodes in, and I'm ready to bail.
