I'm still amazed at how many films based on comic book properties are being made, and how successful they've been. When I think back to the old Marvel TV series of the 70's, it really is a shock to me to see how the general public has embraced comic book characters. "Nerd problems indeed". It wasn't that many years ago that the general populace thought that comic books and comic book characters were lame. My how things change...

I remember a world where I had to defend my geekery, now I feel so unoriginal because being a geek is "in" lol I dont know which I prefer...comic characters are so exposed and commonplace now which is a good thing, but I think I prefer it back in the day when being a geek felt unique and original and kind of like my own guilty pleasure, but not that way anymore

I showed this trailer to my buddy who is by no means a comic fan and he was all "whoa whats that?! whos that?! bad ass..." I just sat there and schooled him feels pretty good to be a comic nerd nowadays
