This is some serious bullpoop! After YEARS of waiting, I finally got my Kabuki today. Sadly, she's all kinds of defective.

Her left arm is broken/unglued and just spins freely, her left foot came unglued from her base (if it was glued at all to begin with), the tip of her right thumb is broken off (and not in the box with her, I triple checked in the bag and styrofoam), and her hair is all chipped up in the front. I am shocked by this. If it was one defect, I could repair/overlook it, but with at least 4 very noticeable issues, I am frustrated and angered by this. This wasn't damage in shipping either, this was clearly lack of quality in the product. I am so disappointed.

I wish they have left her as PVC if this is the result with resin.

Edit, I didn't notice until I looked at the pics the pain sucks. I see issues all over her that I can't unsee now. UGH.

I'm trying. I contacted our shop and CS Moore studios. I haven't heard back from either yet.

Well, no reply from DCBS yet, but CS Moore just told me I'm out of luck if my shop doesn't help me. And they have "sent out hundreds of these and this is the only report of issues like this" they've gotten. So, they don't seem to care all that much. I doubt I'll buy another product from them now. Which is immensely disappointing since I just got their larger Kabuki statue after long searching for her too. This stinks.

Yeah, Shelley's the one that responded that they can't help and that no one else has reported any issues of this nature.

Well, DCBS replied. I can either return it and wait to see if Diamond will give them a replacement, since it's on BACKORDER, and they said it likely won't be filled. Or, I can take $3.90 off the price and keep it. Wow. This is a nightmare.

got mine from BBTS and she came in great! I just wish this line continued on with this medium.
