I just got a bunch of these. Did IS ever mention that He-Man and Battlecat came with an alternate portrait? I didn't see it in any pics and was surprised to see it in there. Kinda seemed like a bit of an afterthought since the hole for the key isn't exactly right and it seems to have more of a visible seam than the advertised portrait (not really noticeable unless it's displayed higher up). I saw the same thing on the one video I saw of it.

But, I went all in on this line and the first 7 that have shown up look amazing. I am in trouble. I bought before thinking of where they will all go and I'll be going all-in on the G.I. Joe line, too, so I have a feeling some of my other stuff is going to have to go to make room.

I was better off when I dismissed these Iron Studios statues as soon as I saw 1:10 with the price. Now that these Batman Black & White statues are priced not that far behind, I guess my mind has made them less offensive (especially when the quality is so much higher).

I did look closer at the key hole for the alternate portrait for the He-Man/Battle Cat statue and I am going to check to see if I can get it replaced. It's not right at all. What the heck?

I'm confused is the new Faker that isn't Battle Damaged a Exclusive or are they not posting all the pictures?

I was also confused by the Faker announcement on today's episode of Inside Iron Studios Day. Is it an exclusive? Are there variants?

They may have shown an undamaged version for comparison purposes only. However, that seems misleading. They could have illustrated the comparison with concept sketches rather than a fully formed product.

Iron Studios often includes alternative portraits. The base and legs were identical in both versions. Perhaps the statue will include swappable damaged and undamaged torsos, just like the Deluxe He-Man included different torsos. They didn't announce He-Man's alternate head for the BattleCat statue until months after pre-orders opened.

The statue is currently only available to pre-order from Big Bad Toy Store in the US and Iron Studios internationally. The BBTS product page says it is "limited edition." However, BBTS customer service had no insight. Sideshow customer service told me that they aren't informed of upcoming product releases and had no information to share.

But I personally like the undamaged ver do to that's his classic look. The battle damage look is something that came in late Matty Collector days. I don't mind it but if I have to pick. It's the classic look.

I wonder why Fake has a $25 price difference between Sideshow and Iron Studios. Whereas Tri-Klops is only a $5 difference. Has anyone ever ordered directly from Iron Studios? Wondering if it's better to go direct and save 12% off the top.
