Look out for #1. Don't step in #2 either.

The pose is similar, and that's about it.

That's the point. Many people on there think the CM looks too much like a larger McF figure.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

I aggree on that point, but, personnally, movie accuracy has nothing to do with the pose of the statue. I am not an Alien specialist, but if his creator, Giger, says that's the most perfect 'incarnation' of the creature he designed. Oh, well, that's fine to me.

PS: some says the same thing on the T-800 CM: it has not that pose in the movie, but...when you have this model in front of you....you just think differently, I can assure you.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

No matter what people's reservations might be on the pose, having seen CM's products up close recently, I'm confident that the last thing anybody will think of when they finally see it is a McFarlane toy.

I just wish they'd ship it already!

Well, as I pass it (for the moment) I'll be waiting for pictures and comments of those who will order it

I`d actually like to see what Mcfarlane could produce at this price level. As, for the price, their figures are very impressive!

Ditto! Their sculpt are pretty good.

Yeah, I think I'll take Giger's word for it, not some "expert" on a Alien message board.

I cannot wait to see pics of this when people get it, it's going to be huge and very very impressive. While I am one of those who think they could have picked a better pose, the sculpt and detail just blow me away. I like it more and more each time I look at the various pics out there.

If this ever ships trust me, you'll see plenty of pics here.

EDIT:

I just got off the phone with CM. The Alien has been delayed to mid/late June.
