Mondo drop failures......

So which posters have you tried to buy and failed to get? I've actually been really lucky so far.

My first miss was Kill Bill. I had just started collecting Mondo prints and wasn't able to get before it sold out.

I've also missed out on:

Tron by Ansin
Dracula Variant-got the regular but really wanted this one.
Jurrassic Park-luckily I was able to make a trade for it.
Black Widow by Olly Moss.

The ones I'm bummed about :

Olly Moss Captain America posters (but these don't go for that much on the secondary market, I'll grab them later)
Jurassic Park
Fortress of Solitude

I've been pretty lucky with stuff I wanted otherwise.

I don't think they will. I'm guessing/hoping that Mondo will have exclusive versions as SDCC this summer.

The first Mondo piece I was actually inclined to get was the Fortress of Solitude, which was also an epic failure for me.

The next was the Tron set which I tried really hard for on behalf of my daughter, which was also an epic fail.

Now if I am working on a drop day I just write them off as smartphones and secure computers can't keep you in this asinine game.

I am ready to say fk it and just eat the secondary market cost of a Batman one if and when they ever do it.

Fortress of Solitude is the only one I have tried for and failed. There hasn't yet been another that I wanted but I'm sure I'll miss that too. lol

Gremlins - FAIL
Dracula - FAIL
TRON set - FAIL

All in all I've only had success once. I no longer bother with Mondo drops. A complete waste of time as far as I'm concerned. If I want it bad enough I'll pick it up off eBay as long as the price is realistic.
