Sounds like Mike wasn't happy with the end product, which is fine, though contrary to what others have experienced.
I am a bit thrown by the responses to an attempt to promote his commissions. Is this common in thread responses here?

He must have learned his lesson. When artists ship to the company or pages to inker they just chuck them in the Fed ex box. The mentality is that it's just work. When we buy from them they often forget that it's a collectible to us.

Got it from him in Italy. He tried to make up for it and drew me a free COMMISSION. But in the end COMMISSION does not replace mangled cover.
