Agreed. And both books mentioned in the opening thread were written by Bendis.

I agree: one of the best Avengers moments in years... and it's great to have the real Vision back.
I may start reading this series again.
Thanks for the thread, wktf, and thanks for posting those pages, Ryche!

The Young Avengers' Vision wasn't the original Vision. The original Vision's brain patterns were based on those of Simon Williams. The Young Avengers Vision's brain patterns were based on those of Iron Lad (Nate Richards, a teenaged Kang, before he became a villain). Iron Lad's armor became the Vision when it was introduced to the original Vision's operating system. So yes, the original Vision's operating system was important to the creation of the Young Avengers' Vision, but the Young Avengers' Vision wasn't the original Vision.
Whew. I'm just glad the original Vision is back.

No, Thor isn't dead. Bendis needs him to put people out of their misery. Janet (Wasp) Bob (Sentry). Cliche of him. I can't wait for him to be off the Avengers.

I just can't get into Bendis's writing he has characters acting different and speaking as well and they are always eating and talking.

I have always enjoyed Bendis's writing , I like the flow of his stories. Yes they feature some mundane stuff but that is also part of lifeas well. His books have a realism to them because of the story. He was one of the guys that brought the story back first, when it was all art dominated books. it will be sad to see him off the Avengers books.

Ah... good call; I remember Simon refusing to let his brain patterns to be used again to make a new Vision, at some point (I forget when/where that was, but Wanda begged him and he explained why he felt violated/etc the first time it was done).
Thanks, Neil.

didn't it boil down to Simon thought he was essentially being cockblocked by himself since vision was partly "him" so if Vision wasn't around he could have a shot at nailing Wanda?
