I am surprised it took them so long to make another one in 1:4 scale. They've been pushing the usual Ryu/Akuma combo which has gotten stagnant both collecting and sales wise.

This makes me think they should have been focusing on the females a long time ago.

It appears they figured Morrigan would be more popular than Classic (blue).

I think Battle Edition was to make it up to the retailers who weren't able to get an order in on the blue or red. Supposedly, Sideshow allocated everything to general POs and retailers weren't able to get any and they couldn't expand the edition size of the others because it was already set. Probably why they aren't setting an edition size for the Black version right now.

If Battle had sold out in 24hrs, my guess is, PCS would have offered another variant. Which is fine.
Business is business. Collectors want to collect. The age old adage - Supply & Demand

PCS should have started with high ES then wound them down with each new announcement, making sure to announce edition sizes from the outset. Battle should have had an ES of 100 ..followed by a variant (silver - Classic) with an ES of 50

Bruh you come up with the best ideas...when i plan my statue production studio i will eyeball u for the marketing director position...will pay u federal minimum wage + commission just so u know. thats good pay during these "uncertain" times.

I should have added:
ES 10 for 'gold' Classic, on sale at 2x the price (the golden grail)
ES 1 for 'clear' Classic, on sale at 3x the price (the grail of all grail's )

Could you imagine, getting your hands on the one and only 'clear'
