Temple Knight is looking pretty good as a starting class, and the new shadow and rain effects look great. I can only imagine how awesome the first PS4 souls game is gonna look now seeing how good this looks on last gen. Starting to get that impatient feeling after watching this now.

I buckled this morning and started a fresh run myself. Not even sure what build I'm gonna make with it ultimately yet, I've tried 11 or 12 so far so I'm scrambling as to what I'm gonna do with him next.

I just decided to make a knight class with maxed equip load and a focus on strength. Slow and clunky as hell but I can 1-2 shot every non-boss in the game as well as just trade blows with bosses without even flinching (add in some Iron Flesh for even better defense)
I love this big bulky guy...might actually go this route for my first character in DS2 as well. Dodging is overrated

Awesome, I ended up doing a tank as well. I got Smough's Armor with Mask of the Child, Great Club +15, Dragon Tooth +5, and the Great Shield of Artorias up to +3. A few more levels in Endurance combined with Havel's Ring and I'll have access to the medium roll as well. Silly build, but sometimes it's just fun to completely pummel your enemies.

One of the best trailers I've ever seen for a game. I really like how this is simple and short, yet explains the appeal of this game perfectly while generating excitement.

well I'm officially out of unfinished XB360 titles to play until Dark Souls 2 and the South Park RPG hit in March...
I think I'll go and replay Xcom

One week to go. So glad I decided on the CE, that knight is gonna look awesome on my shelf of nerdom. With Titanfall releasing the same night I'm making sure to stay FAR away from that midnight launch. I don't think my ears and especially my nostrils could handle it.
