Tweeterhead 1/6 Dark Knight AP. Going to paint it black Kubert/Master Race style.

Was able to squeeze in a little time to work on the TH TDKR...painted the hands and the cape black and gave the gray parts of the suit a dark purple undercoat. Not a fan of the black and white base, I'm going polished gold, gunmetal grey and a metallic black bat symbol. Also removed the rubber pads from the bottom of the base and replaced them with some bigger feet...that base is heavy and there was no room to get your fingers under it to pick it up.

Today's progress: Gray areas of the suit are painted. White highlights on the dark purple undercoat and blended together with Vallejo Cold Gray. Let it dry overnight, apply a coat of Tamiya Clear Pearl to get some shimmer, then matte it down in a couple of days. This should give it a bit of a spandex sheen to the suit in lieu of any texture on it.

Final blending pass:

Sealed the gloves and cape with a satin finish. Weathered the bottom of the cape just a little. Applied a pearl finish to the gray parts of the suit and then brought it back down a bit with a matte finish to get kind of a spandex sheen.

Hard to see but if you look at the leg vs. the glove you'll see a bit of a spandex sheen as opposed to a satin finish.
