Well it makes sense now that the base is a broken bell and the symbiote is leaving Peter. The problem is this is not what people wanted when they say the want a Black Suit SpiderMan. I’m not sure why XM went so left with this without calling it more of a “dio”. Do this AND make a Black Suit SpiderMan because fans would just like a clean black suit. It’s doesn’t always have to be chaos with Venom tied in.

Couldn’t agree more . I didn’t want an origin story Black suit Spiderman . Total waste of time imo and I’m a huge black suit fan .

Some will say this is XM taking risk but it's just more of the same for me as a Spider-Man fan. Another symbiote, which I'm just plain tired of seeing at this point. I'm sure it's because they want to appeal to the masses who only think Spider-man wore black while the symbiote was attached to him. The movie and cartoons are too blame I guess. Just irks me because we got great stories for 2 years while he wore his homemade black costume while the symbiote (which he got rid of after 6 months) gets all the shine.

The concept may be cool…but it’s not really a symbiote and or Black suit Spider-Man per say, to me it’s more of a Dio. Something in line with the transformation Hulk.
I’ll wait and see if I order it but like someone said before…this looks fragile as heck in that teaser and I’d be scared just having that shipped.

Any word on if XM is reworking this concept?
For instance if Black Suit Spidey comes with two torsos, one Regular and the other getting separated from the symbiote.

Hopefully XM is reworking it due to the backlash of their concept. But I doubt it.
