Bring Back Cap's Cowl/Helmet Wings!

Looks like they're coming back in Avengers 2! Given Marvel's stupid trend at changing oostumes in the comics to mimic the movies, I hope we see this return to the comics!

I always liked the wings on Cap's mask. As an action figure and statue collector I HATE when the wings are just painted on OR they leave out the star on Cap's back!

Me too. The wings are as iconic as his shield and the star on his chest.

the wings are separate from the helmet? I can't even tell as they still sorta look painted on to me due to the filming

As is the star on his back and the stripes running all the way around his costume. Thus far, they've really dropped the ball on Cap's suit. In Avengers he looked, from behind, like a guy wearing blue pajamas.

I have hated the Cap look in the comic since the movie look was incorporated into the comics. It looks so stupid. I love the character but simply have not not enjoyed the look or any CAP/Avengers books since the last re-launch. Inferior

Joe:
I miss my Brubaker Cap and my Bendis Avengers. We didn't know how good we had it till it was gone.
