Finally get a monthly title and it's reading like baby stuff.

I've yet to read my copy (will likely do so tonight). I picked it up on a whim though and doubt I'll be sticking with it for the long haul anyway unless it blows me away

You're so right. What the hell!? I've seen this style before & have always avoided it ... but, figured it's the Surfer, I gotta, at least, try it. Well, I learned my lesson. Not for me.

I like Allred and Slott so I'm kind of looking forward to checking this out.

just finished reading it and I agree...pretty weak
I usually enjoy Allred but I'm not feeling him on this title at all. Slott seems to do his best work with Spidey too as even his writing was off.
Granted I don't know too much about the Surfer's past, but this issue did little for me and I won't be coming back for #2.

just not impressed, such a great charactor. with the movies of marvel comic charactors coming out , marvel isnt keeping readers happy. just check out all the forums.Icant believe sam alexander nova hasnt been cancelled yet,no comparison to richard rider done by abnett and lanning. come on marvel bring back the 70 s touch that starlin created . its not 4 year olds buying comics but die hard fans.upgrade silver surfer to the cosmic charactor he deserves ,bring back rich rider as nova as well as adam warlock annd make marvel mine for all the loyal fans. lets hear from others on this subject,a comic fan of over fifty years.
