I'm surprised that Marvel fans don't talk up these statues. They are very well-made, especially for the size and price point. Wolverine is heavy!!!

This right here is why I don't think Bowen could ever return.

You've got a legend of the industry, Clayburn Moore, sculpting a bunch of these, production looking close to the prototypes, a collection enabling scale and attainable while collectible prices but we collectors are too easily distracted buying multiples of the next new over detailed things that are nigh on impossible for anyone to afford to keep.

With some statues, such as Tim Drake Robin and Vision, Bowen sculpted the cape as part of the body. I know some collectors swear by their Bowens, but I wonder how that sort of sculpting style would fly in today's market?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I haven't been impressed by the Batman TAS statues, but these Marvel ones are markedly better. Wolverine in particular is an excellent value, even at full MSRP.

I have a ton of Bowens and especially the later releases by other artists are definitely in another league but I was more referring to collectors as a market.

7-8 years ago these Marvel ones would have been going like hot cakes at these prices. If the market at retail won't support similarly scaled statues at ~$130 or less doubt it will support a couple hundred more for Bowens.
There's plenty of Bowen poo from the earlier times too though.

Honestly, I bought Gamora thinking I would mod her into Batwoman based on her recent appearance in Detective Comics (re-paint, add a cloth cape)...but she's too nice to mod, lol.
