New Convention - Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo

Best news I've heard in months. Just announced and new website up and running! The folks behind the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo are teaming up with the guys that run the Edmonton Collectible Toy & Comic Show to start up a larger, more high profile show in Edmonton (where I live). Great to see a show start up that should have more than 1 or 2 artists! Unfortunately, after FanExpo in Toronto, I'm probably still going to be mostly broke, but it should be fun one way or the other!

Best part of this news is that hopefully it takes some of the strain off the Calgary Expo with folks in northern Alberta opting for this event in the future. The Calgary Expo had ridiculous attendance this year and was too big and busy for me to enjoy as much as I have in years past.

This is awesome news. Western Canada needs more cons!! Hopefully they can attract some major comic guests
