I also beat it two days ago on insane in coop - both on insane. It's doable and I agree, cod4 is harder. Not to say it's easy though, far from it.

how do you get higher rankings in the online game? I only have played horde, does that make a difference? I noticed players with different rankings beside their name.

i don't think horde counts for rank, it's some combination of wins and points, no clue how it actually works though

Ok, I just downloaded the two map packs for the game, but I don't see them anywhere. Not in the map selection on multiplayer or horde. I see them on my hard drive in the memory but I can't get them into the game...
I hit X at the main menu for dlc
I just want to play them of line is it possible?
should they be in the map selection?

they should be in the normal map cycle, but you need to choose the map type for the match you're about to play, Flashback or Combustable.

can anyone help me with this?
I brought the system to a friends house to download them again, we saw them in the map selection screen he even unplugged the cable from the internet in the back and they were still there. When I brought the system home I couldn't find them...
Is there something I'm not doing right?

They should be there. Don't know what the problem could be. Try googling for an answer.
