Andrew Fletcher Keyboardist and Founder of Depeche Mode, Dead at 60.
Another big loss.
I got to meet Andrew after one of their concerts in Austin in the early 90's. In a mens room of all places. My friend and I went to a club after the concert and Depeche Mode happened to go there as well. I only chatted with him for a few minutes, after we left the mens room, LOL. He was super nice and introduced me to the rest of the band who were in a VIP area. He was a very nice guy and loved his fans. Very sad to hear he is gone and at an early age.

Depeche Mode came into huge prominence when I was in college and it was college radio that really started to play their music before it was discovered by the masses and MTV (back when they played music). It is such a shame - Andrew was only 60 but he has left a huge legacy. RIP.
