LOL not quite yet. I need to learn how to cut parts into pieces that don't fit in the printer area, otherwise I'll have to scale it down. That's coming. But first I need to improve on printing large pieces, that's always a challenge. My next print project needs to tackle that, so it will probably be a 1/6 Batman Forever Panther Suit statue. I can print the cape without cutting it in half, which is a beautiful thing. Either that or a Batman throne piece. We'll see what's up after I finish Spider Man.

Thanks Sonic! I think the grey is just a shade darker than I would've liked, and looking back I probably should have done some yellowing on the front window of the spotlight...but it was more of a proof of concept project more than anything else and I kinda blew through it LOL.

Thanks Jeremy, much appreciated!

Now I gotta leave it behind and concentrate on Spider Man... working on the base now.

I finished the base today and started on the main body... shadow coats first. Tomorrow I'll begin the blue areas....my usual process...white highlights, mid tone blue, pop the highlights, reinforce the shadows. I'll seal the blue with a pearl finish and tone it down with satin to get a spandex look.

Blue is done:

Red is done on the main body. I'll need to do the spider on his back before I move on to the head sculpts.

A long week at work kept me busy but finally the body is done and the heads just need a tiny bit of shading and sealing. Then it's time for all the line work before I start the eyes.

An update on the 3D printing dept...I've decided that instead of lowering the water, I'm gonna raise the bridge and add an FDM printer. It's got a bigger print bed, basically 12x12x12, so things like bases and capes that don't fit the resin printer without chopping up, I'll do on the FDM. I've already done some tests and it's working out well for a couple of future projects. It should make things easier on the 1/4 scale front.

Spider-Man looks great so far. He does look creepy with no eyes though. LOL
