I was going to buy the phasing Vision when it was first offered but I couldn't get past the peg. Completely detracts from the piece, plus Vision doesn't look like that when he's phasing. It would have been more effective if he was painted like the partially visible section of Invisible Woman in the section that he's phasing on, which also might have hidden his peg.

Hate to dig up old debates, but I am thinking of "upgrading" my normal Vision. Has anyone else owned BOTH and is able to speak to their merits and which one is "better"?

I just received a phasing from Rocky's Vault, an AP, and think it's beautiful. I also have the normal. I won't be letting go of either. This thread just about covers all debate about this statue.

Dammit! You're in a perfect position to choose. I want an ANSWER. That's not an answer!
Statue-eating trolls have raided your home, and they've gotten a hold of both Vision statues. You can only swat one annoying troll away, saving that statue. Which do you choose??

After reading through this thread, I definietly go for fully painted!!
I was on the fence about faded look, didn't seem right.
So glad I've seen this before buying Vision.
Thanks!

I agree with SuperJ300 I would go with the fully painted version. I'm not big on "invisible" or phasing statues. I think I would be concerned with how the clear resin would look/age over the long term.

Or think of it as he's phasing through the peg. I have one and like it a lot!

Phasing would be superior if not for the visible peg! I have to go with the normal version.

I keep the phasing. It's an AP! And my second most expensive statue after Sentinel.

Okay, that's as good a reason(s) as any.
I think I'll keep my Regular AP because I appreciate the character, but not enough to spend so much and go with the Phasing. That picture is pretty cool though.
