Wonder Woman Collectors - exciting new item being announced 12/21

Just a little teaser to let all Wonder Woman collectors know that there is an awesome new collectible being solicited Monday from DC Direct and will be released in August 2010 in honor of DC's 75th Anniversary.

Check ExperienceTheWonder.com > Upcoming Releases at the link below Monday at 5:00pm for full details and the full-size high resolution photo!

(Upcoming Releases are listed in order of release date, so it will be at the very bottom.)

I'll be anxious to hear everyone's thoughts once it's revealed - I know I am ecstatic! Sorry I can't reveal more until Monday at 5pm, but I have to follow DC's rules.

I really hope it's not that horrible DC Chronicles Wonder Woman statue.

Nope - it's nothing anyone has seen before now... and absolutely breathtaking - only the second of it's kind to be released. I'm usually never surprised with solicitations because almost always I already know about the new items in advance. But this was totally off the radar!!

Can you tell us if it is a 1/4 scale statue, or other size?

I am curious ...

Maybe a 1:1 or 1:2 bust? I would love a 1:1 bust of Wonder Woman

Can you tell us if they will show another collectibles?

I saw those at SDCC this year. A great improvement over the previously released set.

We've seen the new mixed-media JLA Trophy Room Tiara, Bracelets & Golden Lasso Prop Replica, so not that... I can say it's roughly 1/8 Scale and no one has seen it before (outside those involved with the design at DC, of course)!

hmm 1/8 scale makes expectations low and if it really does come out to be something awesome the fact that they couldn't make it 1/4 scale makes would make me want to cry. It'll be displayed but overshadowed by all the other awesome 1/4 scale statues in my collection.

Well, with DC Direct, 1/8 Scale seems to be the norm and 1/4 and 1/1 Scale are the exception, so basically what I'm saying is this will be "normal scale" for DC Direct and not anything over-sized.
