I think there's three likely scenarios...he's creating the monsters, making everyone think they're seeing the monsters, or the characters are actually in the movie and they're working together to make Mysterio look like a good guy.

I'm thinking mass illusion.

Nice trailer, it will eventually turn out that Mysterio is evil. Wasn't Flash suppose to be a rivail to Peter for Mary Jane ? He doesn't seem interested in Mary Jane, and who would choose that Flash over Peter... Peter is hotter than Flash lol It seem Peter will get somekind of Black Costume film variation, can't wait to see it properly.

So it's been officially confirmed that this film takes place minutes after Avengers End Game finishes, Sonys insistence on getting this film out as soon as possible so they can make more money is ruining the impact of Infinity War & End Game, of course most people knew Spidey would return but I'm seeing a lot of confused people online asking why everything is back to normal after half of the population was wiped out.
This trailer basically ruins End game for a lot of people because it shows that the Avengers win and sort everything out, the decimation has been restored like nothing ever happened.

This trailer should have been shown after End Game comes out but Sonys greedy corporate heads wouldn't have that.

Spidey travels to Scotland in this one. It's excellent & really works. + the art is just beautiful.
