Adi Granov Sketches from Wizard Toronto Comicon 2010

Two of the sketches are mine. The others belong to my two friends, who lined up with me for four hours on Friday and Saturday to get these super sketches. The Ironman sketch with the Toronto CN Tower in the back ground was an idea that she thought up, from seeing a previous drawing that Adi Granov drew.

Like that Nova the best.

That is Fantastic. Adi is such a good dude. If things work out, I think we can expect Mr. Granov in Florida next year.

Congrats! Personally I like the Iron Man and Gamora ones most, but they are all very nice!

Assuming this is not an April Fool's joke, I'll keep my fingers crossed. (metaphorically speaking of course)

Very nice! His Nova covers are still some of the best covers ever made.

No Joke man. I've been talking to Adi for awhile and he got in touch with Beth. Hopefully looking for the 2011 show. Just sent him a feeler out email. I'll see him in NYCC to see If I can get a conformation.

They have had several shows at this location in Toronto. It is an area where it is a hassle to get to. Even with past guest such as Ellis, Bendis, Kaluta, Jones, Chaykin, Perkins, Cooke, and other super-star comic people, it has never attracted huge crowds.

Selfishly, it has been good for me. I've been able to get quality sketches at shows held at this location. Though, this Wizard show did attract a noticeably larger crowd.

For those lucky enough to get on Adi's list, he spends on average, a half an hour on each free sketch. Over a three day period some artists do commissions. Chances are that you could get on that list one or two times. Adi doesn't do commissions, which make it even more special to get a sketch from this A-list cover artist. I've never aquired a $100 graphic novel just because of the cover. I am a statue collector. A trade was made with a store to get the Tales Of Suspense Omnibus by Granov. I might, and I might not read the book. Randy Bowen had asked members of a forum to submit the definitive Granov pose to him. Marvel has Adi doing covers because they sell.
