They keep you interested by releasing new information throughout the 1.5 years before release.

Preferably, some characters (like Akuma) should be noticeably agitated at the bowl being there, and perhaps reach up and quickly toss it down, breaking it before the round starts.

I have a feeling the noodle thing will come off and not stay on. After all its the first build.
But the stages are more interactive now and thats the thing now with fighting games. Long gone will be the 2D stuff we are used too.
