Gamora by Adi Granov, from ECCC

I wasn't able to attend ECCC myself (or any other show Adi is doing this year), and didn't want to wait at least a year for a chance at another piece from him, so I set this piece up for a friend to pick up. My first two pieces from Adi turned out absolutely stunning (Valkyrie and Hela) and this one is no different. Absolutely love the Nova covers Adi did featuring Gamora, so I couldn't pass up the chance to add a piece by him to my growing Gamora collection. Absolutely love how it turned out. Here she is:

Very nice!

I didn't realize he was offering a 3/4 B&W option though.

Man, Adis portfolio had such awesome art in it. Damn. This is fantastic! Congrats! I wish I had opted for the 3/4 rather an the bust. If I had known I was gonna get dogged on another commission it would've fit my budget. Oh well. Congrats!

Really nice. But I have to ask -- why no color?

Why no color? A couple of reasons.... First off, I actually really like the look of his B&W pieces, some moreso than the color pieces. Personally, I think some of his color pieces that he does at cons don't turn out nearly as well as the B&W ones. If it was an at home piece, I would have went with color. And finally, color pieces cost an extra $100, which since I actually like his B&W con pieces more than the color ones, I didn't want to pay.
