The only way I'll consider her is if I can find someone who can totally repaint her correctly, including her skin and hair.

And that will cost a fortune.

Ugh. I hate how this always happens to my girl. What the hell is so complicated about her?!

Yeah, it would add probably another $300-400 to her cost on top of the 990 SGD and shipping to the U.S.

Well, sorry I have to combat you two...two of my favorite peeps on the forum.

I think she is stunning....BUT...some things need to change.

1) Skin tone needs to be darker / chocolate tone.

2) Hair needs to be whiter. But remember how Black Cat hair turned out? So be careful what you ask for.

3) I love the pearl / silver / gold color tones. Could use a little more silver though.

Concept, pose, sculpt is exceptional.

I'll be honest...there are far better pieces at STGCC from XM than Storm that are female. Lady Thor, Lady Sif, Batgirl, Poison Ivy are all much more appealing.

Completely disagree on skin tone. Thats the thing i think they hit on perfectly. In her most popular renditions she has been a little lighter. Overall i would buy this is a heartbeat! But alas I'm a US collector and I'm not paying an extra $400 or more to get this to me.

I don't think you're going against us -- you're right there with us We all agree it's the paints that are off, the sculpt and art direction are solid!

Ororo needs white hair. Has nothing to do with the design, but all in the color.

And you're right, 'Roro isn't redbone (am I allowed to say that? I don't mean anything negative about it just a good way to describe her skin undertone in this paint). I don't care if they make her more mocha, chocolate, or whatever. Just not as dark as TChalla because she has always been a touch lighter.

Send her back to paints! While at it, flip flop the white and silver paneling on the suit. Perhaps Ang was concerned it was "too much white" and that's why her hair is gray. Easy fix is to swap the color scheme.

I also just noticed her cape is just kind of there, meaning it's not attached to her wrists like it should be.

I think this will be pass. Ivy and Dark Phoenix are MUCH, much better. Let's just hope they don't paint Dark Phoenix in colors of orange and yellow.

Totally agree that this is a stellar sculpt. The pose and portrait are awesome.

But I have to also agree about the paint. Her hair needs to be more white ...just like Black Cat. Her costume needs to be more sheen silver.

This is a great looking statue, very dynamic.

I agree with most are saying regarding skin tone and whiter hair. The face sculpt is much better than most XM female faces, less "Phicen" doll-like. (Something they have to fix on the Dark Phoenix open mouth portrait.)
