I just wanted to drop in and mention Jim Rowell's incredible work. Obviously nothing in this world is perfect there is AWALYS room for improvement. The sculpt and the paint. But get this - Jim not only painted this model but he BUILT it from my raw castings as well. Judging by the time frame I shipped him the castings, to the time it shipped out for comic con, He couldn't have had more than 6 days to do the entire thing. I was honestly terrified thinking about how the entire thing could be ruined if it were rushed. But when I saw the final pics my mind was freaking blown. I mean he pulled this thing whole together in super human fashion. I don't know why some of the pics make the horse look reddish but it isn't. I assume its just the crappy lighting inside the Javitz center. Anyway, I can't say enough about Jim's work. Personally speaking, if I were dropping the coin on this piece, I would want Jim to paint my copy. Especially considering the fact that he could actually make it BETTER if he had more time. I mean... holy crap.

If you have never seen the litho in person it is beautiful and no 20 dollar poster will compare. Supposedly these are extras from the printer (Paradox I think) that were stored in warehouse until the Frazettas passed away.
Cool, let's wait and see how the poster looks like. If it's something that I can just print out at home, then I won't be surprised. But if it's really a high quality print, then I'll be shocked. I really have my doubts on ARH, because they haven't kept their words. They haven't improved on the styro-foam, changed their ES, and on the expected price (Tries to keep the Frazetta's pieces under 700 dollars).

They did live up to that. They never promised they would be under that price. Just that they were gunning for that. Huntress came out under and DD a little over.

When you say base to top do you mean floor (bottom of base) to top or from top of the base to top of the statue? If the latter how tall is it from bottom of base to top of statue? Thanks.

Floor (bottom) to top. It is beyond huge. I'm passing because of the size.

Can anyone confirm if the Death Dealer will be sold on ARH studios website soon?
Or was it only available to purchase him during the NYCC?

Thanks

NYCC was just an early release special for the diehards...they were thinking of putting it up again at another big comic con coming up... after that a regular release through their website.

Thanks for the info!
I'm glad to know that I did not miss out on this awesome piece.
I wonder which comic con they plan on hopefully putting it on for sale as an exclusive again.
