Good eye! He does look like he's taking a selfie. Lol, might be a response to the PF.
In addition to that, tho .... if you look at the first pic he's holding a big gun and in the second pic he's holding a cell phone. Looks like a switch out right arm.
This is looking really awesome right now. Can't wait to see the whole statue.
