Prime 1 is definitely superior but perhaps too detailed compared to the original Alex Ross works while Iron Studios seems a little too flat.

Feel like I would want a happy medium between the two.

P1 has given the statue a realistic look and feel which is not a bad thing but the portrait is not 100% Ross although quite close. The more I look at it, the more I have issue with it.

Iron Studios Ross Superman is a lot closer to the artwork but the sculpting quality is far behind compared to that by P1.

I really wish P1 would revise the headsculpt and make it a lot closer to what Alex Ross has done.

Apparently, it will also be available in 1:10 scale as well. I wish they would do 1:6 scale too.

I mean, Ross's art makes his chin/jaw look like Leno to me too, so, what's the problem there?

Yeah, Ross definitely has a distinctive style. I personally only like a limited amount of his art.

Yeah, for superman and batman I do notice many artist give them wide and thick jaws with big chin as strong masculine characteristics.
