I am not a Venom fan but I think this is the best statue/bust of him ever made. The details on this are amazing.

I would have been on board with this if they went with the
comic-accurate spider emblem and ditched the nameplate.

Heck, even just making the chest emblem look right would
have convinced me to pick it up.

Yeah, I love just about everything about this but I have no idea what they were going for with that symbol. The legs, the body pieces, it?s a weird art design.

Venom?s symbol doesn?t have 100% accuracy between artists even in the comics, the legs have always varied, but for statues I?m pretty much always going to want the symbol to be either Mark Bagley style with 1 high point



Or Erik Larson style with multiple zig zag points

In my opinion it would look weird if they gave him the perfectly formed spider emblem from the comics. You have a living suit with tendrils flowing all over yet have a perfectly symmetrical symbol with straight lines on his chest. Would look off imo.

I like the interpretation they did here compared with Sideshow's previous symbols. But I get what you guys are saying!

that's my thought as well. This isn't a Bagley or Mcfarlane Venom anyway, so it doesn't need to have those versions of the symbol. I still think this is the most vicious looking Venom bust made by anyone so far. I think I'm going to need to unload my XM bust now.

Personally, I would kill for a simplified life size Bagley Venom Bust, that would be a grail piece for me... Carnage as well.
