Light Phoenix's powers were pretty much reigned in by Jean's humanity, she never used them as she should.
If we're taking that into account (as we seem to only do when it suits our OWN arguments) then Black Adam would win.

More inconsistency is what I see. In the past the professor was able to put Juggernaut down but couldn't effect the Hulk. I don't care how mad you are if I could shut your mind down I own you period. The story was bad writting from the start but because it had to move along they (Emma and Charles) had to be shown how ineffective they are.

Well adreneline can cancel out pain killers, hyponotic suggestions and tranquillisers, maybe high levels can stop telepathic suggestion too.

Are you making more excuses for bad writting? The bottom line was that the story had to move on. Hulk could not be defeated by the Xmen because it would have ended to story right then and there. By bringing up this point you raise another issue will Adam be crazed as you state to the point where mind control gets thrown out the window?

I love both BA & X-Men and I'm going with X-Men in this one, BA would take out Cyclops, Storm and a few others but Rogue, Nightcrawler, Prof X and Phoenix would be more than enough to take him out in the end 
and I believe it wouldnt take long for Jean to let the Phoenix force loose if she was to see Cyclops get killed by BA, Her rage would know no bounds after that
