Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

I have to admit I too have lost some faith, enough to cancel my 1/2 Robo bust and wait and see. There has been a string of failures at CC that has resulted in ruining product people have been begging for. I know they are still learning and building their business, and don't get me wrong I am aware of costs and fees and price points and am a firm believer in getting what you paid for, but I imagine with alittle more money paid, from CC to us customers, the end product would have less issues and that would be better than taking black mark after black mark. These problems are firmly planted at the factory and I know Paul has said they are upping their game on QC, which is a start on solving the randomness of quality statues.

Their goal is admirable, but it's time to up the ante so we can eat our cake, too. I hope they are serious, I just wish the 1/4 Endo and BO rex production runs could have been saved so ALL of them ended up being high quality pieces.

I have the Stegosaurus Maquette and it's one of my favorite pieces in my collection. Chronicle absolutely knocked it out of the park with that one. Toynami needs to prove that they can maintain quality on the larger runs of 500+ pieces. But they nailed the Stego - anyone on the fence with that one should pick it up.

Is the Female T-Rex Bust going to have an eye like the BreakOut?

Or is it going to be like the Raptor Bust Glass Eye?

That's one thing (maybe the biggest) that I don't like about the Breakout.....no glass just painted funny lookin.

I like mine, but I'm unhappy with the price point relative to its size. Same size as Sideshow's Dinosauria line. I have the 1/2 Robocop bust on order and I'm interested in the 1/2 Anubis Stargate bust, but as far as future JP pieces go, I'm probably done.

Is it just a cost thing? or production thing with these statues? To just paint eyeballs instead of using a glass or plastic for them.

I am new to all of this.

I think the BreakOut is bad ass. When you are viewing it from a few feet away. Just the painted eyes cheapen (for lack of word) the breakout for me.

Still glad I got it!

I Stan Winston maquette had painted eyes (not glass) so I don't have a problem with it being painted. A glass eye would have increased the cost

It is a cost and production thing. The Rex is full resin cast, not rotocasted (hollow from inside). That makes a thing complicated if you want to insert the glass eye

You're saying it's a solid piece?

Isn't it? I think it is, it's over 4 pounds heavy. If it's not, then I've made a mistake
