Anyone remember "Damnation Alley" and Ark II

Haven't seen either the movie or the saturday morning show in over twenty-five years but found myself thinking about these today.

Both featured a post-apocalyptic world and RVs from hell.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Yeah, post-apocalyptic movie. George Peppard was the leading man.

Damnation Alley! Fun book by Roger Zelazny. Haven't seen the movie, but that pic doesn't look too far off.

Ark 2 used the same vehicle as Damnation alley yeah I remember Ark 2 came on after the live action Shazam and Isis shows on CBS, wonder what ever happen to that vehicle would be a neat thing to drive around in now. If I remeber correctly this thing really worked as in the 3 sets of wheels actually rolled over and stuff I remeber seeing a show on it way back when that is was some kind of prototype vehicle or something. maybe one day all these shows will show up on DVD see those are the kind of shows kids should be watchin now not all that japanimation crap thats on Sat mornings Up until Sat mornin carttons turned to crap I got up and watched them still I think Sat morning cartoons hit their peak in the 80's then sadly died as did much of the point of Kids being Kids, How many kids do you see runnin around a neighborhood playin superheros with sheets and towels as capes or building a tree fort UGH I am glad to sat at least I was a kid when being a kid was being a kid. wow started out on commenting on the show and ended up on a social comentary on how the world has changed LOL
