For some reason, UK Import Duty/Tax appears to have increased from 20% to way beyond that?
$585.00 - Elektra
$98.16 - Shipping DHL
$193.57 - Duty/Tax
-$19.20 - SSC Rewards
------------------------------
$857.53 - Total
The good news is, rather than using my hard earned cash, i got lucky trading ADA Cardano and pulled in $1495.00 in less than a week

Paid to the shipper. In this case, DHL (who presumably pass it on).

Good gravy, over $850 for a quarter scale statue. Something is going to give (or burst) sooner or later.

That'll be me
I said the same last year, 2021 seems worse. Other than finding an acceptable deal on ebay, i'm nearly done. If Cardano goes Bitcoin level crazy, then i'll be racking up them statues

The red one looks better. The black looks very good.
My plan is to display both with different weapon set up's.

But 617 in pounds. Its not nearly as a hard lift when your money is worth more. Check out the Canadian version of $1073. The British are used to a good conversion rate, thats why on vacation here they buy a ton of stuff.

When shipping + import = half the cost of the item, it fails to sit well. 20% is bad, but now it feels like a 30% charge to import. The same thing happened with Cammy 1/3 who arrived via FedEx. Something appears to have altered with regards to Sideshow's shipping to the UK. A rule somewhere appears to have changed. It is probably UK side.
