Civil War II?

Any takers? I love Coipel's art and am happy to see him on an event book again. Last one, I think, was AvX and Siege before that.

Unfortunately, I'm sick of events that promise to "change the landscape" or whatever catchphrase they're using and, of course, this one's very title feels like a movie tie-in marketing-oriented money grab as opposed to real storytelling, the latter of which has been absent from both Marvel and DC for a long time with some, admittedly, notable exceptions.

Coipel only did the art for # 0, Marquez is gonna be the artist for the rest of the Series.

I agree with you about the 'marketing'-the same can be said about the Apocalypse event in the X-Men books-but honestly the thing is I don't really know what is going on with Marvel lately(with the exception of a few titles) so right now I'm indiferent about it.

To the ones that been following, what is the conflict this time?

I'm out! This is the first major event I will be boycotting. It's just too much. If the stories were even mildly of a decent quality I wouldn't mind but there's zero substance. The current Apocalypse Wars story is really testing my love of the X-Men. The quality is just completely lacking.

Same. I bought the issues of Original Sin and Axis but, for the first time, passed on the HCs. This time I. Not even buying the series.

I dislike events and usually pick up a trade down the line, but I'll be getting this monthly mainly due to David Marquez' art. He's been killing in on Invincible Iron Man.
