It's fine. Pretty unspectacular - wouldn't have minded the only "tilted" DC logo with the stars but whatever

Indeed, the tilted one would still work

I liked the "bullet" logo from 1976.

Visually, I thought the previous logo was a very nice and modern graphic design. However as a brand I think it probably ran into several problems. I would guess the logo was not reading as "D-C" with everyone, especially internationals. That can sometimes be a problem with merged letter logos. Marvel doesn't have that issue, which is why DC might be going back to that very bold and simple look. Also I think after New 52, and the under performance of movie properties there was a need to reconnect with the core audience, which is why the logo harkens back to the bold typography and blue color palette many fans grew up with. While the executions looked quite cool the color set of the previous logo was all over the place with a different color for each business line. So it was probably a case of over shooting, and trying to be too cool for the market. Yeah it looks a little boring, but now DC is back to being "big blue".

I grew up with the 1949 logo. That's my favorite.

2005 was such a cool logo - the new one is a thousand times better than the "sticker" logo - I wasn't a fan of that one at all!

Best logo was 2005 but the classic 76 could have stayed for ever as well.
the new one looks like a toddler made it on a computer for a first logo ever made for them

Same here. I grew up with the '76 and came back to comics as an adult with the '05.
