Gonna file small claims cases against them as well (and maybe even call their local cops).

Nice to hear, but scary that tools like this are out there waiting to screw people. I don't get.

Is it a bad idea to leave a large amount of money in your PayPal account? Surely if there is a dispute about a small amount say $300 would they freeze your entire money?

Nope. Just the disputed amount. I have 5K in mine at any given time. Never had a problem.. until now.
Since I am at a point where I pay cash for everything I need that dough to sit around in PayPal for my descretionary purchases.

I never leave any money in the paypal account i've read too many horror stories of money being held up or frozen to take a chance.
There's far too many scammers out there now to even risk it IMO.
Speaking of scammers your scammer is no longer a registered user congrats.

.. and the kicker is, they insured the "Smoking Simpson Aunt" for over $200.00 and the game (with a $5.99 price tag) for $305.00. WTF???
Watch out for scammers on eBaY, people. They are alive and well.
This scammer is good, but not that good. I'm filing federal mail fraud charges against the shipper and all associated names/addresses tomorrow.

That's...crazy! This person is weird. And hopefully soon to be prosecuted!

So "clearly" you doth assume way too much..

Tell me ole wise one how did cblakey's "selling style" attract this type of buyer? The simple fact is no matter how great a seller you are you are bound to run into scammers on eBay .
