I actually like the eels.. Adds to the base nicely... And unless Mera gains 300 lbs I'm not sure how the eels make her look like Ursula

For me, the only tweak I would like XM to make is to angle her front foot more forward, it kind of looks twisted right now..

Get rid of the eels and giver her one sleek reef shark. Not attacking, just gliding around from behind her in the rocks. Like it waiting to be summoned.

Or tone down the amount of the eel we see. They dwell IN the rocks. Maybe have one more stealthy.

Are those eels or barracudas?

Unless that's her thing in the comic (commanding those particular sea creatures often), I'd replace them with something else.
They look too specific in intent to be merely a design element of the base.

Also I would tweak her hair to be less directional. Whether she is coming to rest (planting her feet), or in the process of taking off from that position, I think her hair would be moved in multiple directions at once.

Both XM (long hair port) and the SS Movie Aquaman, get this aspect right.

Her hair is accurate if there any kind of current... I'm just afraid if they make her hair go in multiple directions it might give her a medusa kind of look....

And my question is: can XM really reproduce this beautiful portrait in statue form? Maybe the sculpt, but for the paint, I doubt it.

i don't mind the eels. I actually like it the way it is. Likes she's commanding them for some sort of attack or on guard.
