ES never influenced what I buy ...low ES or high ES. However, price does.

With a high price, the statue would have to really wow me. This doesn't.

That's the problem with putting up such a high price. Collectors get very picky.

I mean Lobo is a niche character. I would have been surprised if the ES had gone over 230.
The high price was also to be expected because XM raises the prices. I think the price would be the same even if the ES were 999.

I just hope that Samurai Batwoman will be featured this year. I don't think I'll buy a 1/4 statue from XM next year if the prices keep going up like that.

Honestly I’m surprised this is so much less than white knight. Maybe because they already had the sculpt?

Lobo is an interesting character, but not one I need a statue of. The main problem I have is the color palette of the statue distracts from what should be the main attraction of the statue, Lobo. Puke green smoke, the blue fire from the engines, and then the red all over it. I think if they used more muted colors around Lobo, they could have made him pop more.

Probably so. But all the same, collectors will be picky at that price.

Could be. Or maybe it's just because the White Knight bike was bigger and more intricate. Dunno.

I’m glad I don’t want this statue, spec and cc are charging 2k+ shipping. XM is really trying to chase out all but the people with more money than sense. I hope this is the first piece that never sells out. People need to start speaking with their wallets.

This is exactly why I passed on Cable.

I wanted a Cable and I like it but the egregious price, I just can't support it. Sets a very bad precedent and only encourages repeat behavior.

That said, this has an extremely low ES all the same. I don't think they really expect to sell very many and they are probably ok with that (for some reason).
