This Thanos is fantastic!!!!! IMHO LB beasts touches are not as drastic as XM. More in line with Sideshow just enough modern touches.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

What are your impressions of each of the new pieces in person, any of them especially stand out ?
The Hulks are impressive but the standout for me is Iron Man. Even unpainted it looks really good, especially when side by side with Cap and Thor.

From a lower view also has a freakishly long neck. What's going on there? Maybe his head is too small??
Yeah, he's too short for me as well. Even if it is the classic comic size it just doesn't look right next to the Hulks IMO.

I agree with everyone that he's short. I expected him to be much bigger actually. He's pretty much the same size as Venom.

Thou it’s accurate, many ones might not get used to it. Imho, if only the Thanos himself bigger by 2-3%, there must be much less complaints.

I was thinking the same thing.

I guess we all have characters that we really love and can see particular details that have more importance to us that others might not notice.

Right next to Venom on almost the same size base he’s definitely too short

Awesome chart, Peedi.

The portrait looks good, but i think it should look stronger, i think it's a lacking a little power. If Thanos were a bodybuilder, it looks like him in the off season.

I wish all these LBS pieces were straight up copies of the comic versions like what Bowen did

LBS's all have a comic feel to them but they're going for a realistic look which makes them feel a little like the MCU interpretations. This one is more Lim than Brohlin but still i kinda see a little Brohlin Thanos in there.

I think it may be harder to nail a straight comic look as opposed to a comic inspired realistic movie look. There is more room for error and it can be their own "look" without having to measure up exactly to the comic art.

His neck is too thin and narrow. If Thanos wore a dress shirt in the LBS pic it would be about a 20" neck, he needs it to be bigger like a 22-23" neck. the neck muscles are much more pronounced on the comic art, more definition and separation.

the face and chin could be ever so slightly more square and jaw more like a brick. the softness and and roundness of the jaw/chin is making him look a little weaker.

but the aside from the thin neck and rounded brohlin face the portrait is GORGEOUS.

5% easy, minimum IMO.
