Watch producer Joel Silver yell at Ryan Gosling & Russell Crowe about THE NICE GUYS

I have to wait until next week for its release here.

I'm glad you enjoyed it ratchet .

'The Nice Guys' Is In Censor Trouble And Its India Release Has Been Postponed By A Week

The Nice Guys will be butchered upon its release in India. Damn Censor Board.

The Nice Guys made 11 million over the weekend, as large portion of the American audience didn't watch it or chose to watch The Angry Birds over a Shane Black movie. Bravo.

Let's continue moaning about sequels, remakes, toy franchises and lack of original movies being made in Hollywood.

I saw it on Friday and loved it!! Being from L.A. I really loved all the 70's era references. Total Shane Black film, surprisingly not set during Christmas time. Russell and Ryan were fantastic as a team in this, the rest of the cast was great as well.

Hopefully you can see an uncut version at some point Spideristic.

I voted with my wallet and saw it opening weekend. I really enjoyed it and though it was a lot of fun. Reminds me how much I miss the action/comedy movies of the seventies and early eighties even though I was too you to watch them when the first came out.

Thanks, yeah I will catch the original cut on Blu-ray eventually. But will be seeing the movie in theatres (in whatever editied form) if it gets released here this week.

Yeah that world and aesthetics is also something I am looking forward to. Not many 70's based period movies are done these days.

Agreed. Also instead of catastrophes on a national or city level the stakes in most of those movies were comparatively smaller yet personal and hence more effective as we enjoyed the antics of those characters and have bonded with them.

I have 3 kids, so I was forced to contribute to the Angry Birds tally. If it makes you feel better I was wishing I was watching The Nice Guys as birds flew across the screen.

I do plan on trying to catch it sometime this week though.
