Hex is a comin'
Just read on Darkhorizons.com the Warner Brothers is developing a Jonah Hex movie. Here's what they said
"The filmakers are not making a straight-ahead Western but plan to develop the character with some Supernatural overtones in the hopes of creating a franchise."
Sound like WB may be dipping into the Tim Truman version of the character. Ten or so years ago, Truman was on a roll with Supernatural Westerns. His Hex was as mean a s.o.b. as the current take on the character but even bloodier. This could be great!

They're quite a team; Lansdale and Truman. The spooky Western genre was theirs. I'm just speculating about the Hex film version being Truman influenced , but I can't think of another supernatural take on the character. I've recently read the DC Essentials on Jonah and can't recall any in his original tales being ghostly. The paring of the Western and Horror could just be so fantastic on film. I hope this project doesn't get lost.
