Is it just me, or is there a pretty decent gap on both portraits where they connect to the body? I also have this on order, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned.

Minus the card issue and the seams^ which I also notice it really does look great. I don't know if it's the camera, but the colors really pop...the eyes jump right out. The paint's lit af as the kids would say. Now, imagine they kept the cards the way they were.

everybody is angry on Facebook regarding the energy card arc, and they are right. The position looks really dumb now, with one card behind and the top of the arc doesn't reach the finger now.
I'm going to cancel I think, unless a change is made, which I seriously doubt.

I'm extremely surprised XM didn't think there would be backlash by making such a change, I expect they might need to fix this or risk losing a lot of customers.
That aside, personally.. I still think it looks great but the arc and angle definitely changed and not for the better. Overall the piece looks brilliant but can really understand people's frustration here. They should have spent more time getting the arc right if that's what they needed.

The owner of the Gambit piece with the photos commented when asked what he thought on the statue, and the arc -
"I am really happy with this piece. It's dynamic, colors are sharp, scale is right, pieces fit solidly, base is cool looking... While I see and sympathize with what others see, it doesn't bother me nearly as much. I think once people have it in-hand, most people will be really happy with it."

Paint job looks incredible, really nice. However, I see the neck seam issue and the new card arc looks terrible. Hopefully they can fix it for the people that bought him. But, don't count on it.
