Thanks for the pic, Shoo. I really like it. I don't understand the hate that this is getting. Him hanging off the tree is fine. It's not anymore awkward then him holding onto a building with nothing but his one hand, like the P2 version.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

For me (and some of the others) - it's NOT the "hanging" that is the issue.

Everything about this looks great EXCEPT the angle of his right leg - looks awkward as-is, and would have been better stretched out instead of bent under/back.

And yeah - thanks again for the pic Shoo

Count me in for the camp that don't like this. Their P2 is pretty decent, coulda been a lot better in a lot of areas but decent. This I don't like the look of it at all.

I actually really like it a lot better in the latest pic. I appreciate the flexibility in the Infinity Predator pieces.

Cool

I don’t mind the look so much but from what I can tell just in pictures, Prime1s is going to be night and day difference better than this.

I just messaged IS to get an update on this, its been a while with no updates. Maybe they've listed to the feedback and are making changes. I would definitely want to see Dutch moved to the front of the statue.

I was just thinking earlier if this one was still on the cards. I don't actually like it very much as is, but if they tweak the pose (Legs) And bring Dutch more into view among a few other things, this could potentially be a great little statue.

EDIT: I completely forgot that we've already seen this painted up. I doubt they'll change much now, you'd think they would have done that before painting it if they were planning on doing so. But who knows....

Below, is last MSG merged from Infinity Pred2 thread.
-- -- --

Hi there

Not enough real news in the Infinity Facebook page (only promotional pictures).
As a Predator and Alien fan, can you share some news/insight about your upcoming Predator 1 statue, please.

Bcs the head and upper torso look amazing already. Also love the design of the main tree (personally I would like another 8cm/3inch more tree height to create hanging vibe).
But yes the two small tree stumps in the middle supporting the knee looks awkward to be honest. Is Infinity considering changing this part of the design?
And like others said, I would like Dutch at the side or front of the base too.

Many thanks.

I'd love to see those changes, too.

Hmmm, have no idea yet, but I will post it as soon as possible when I know about it.

This is almost certainly due to the bright convention lighting, but the colors on the base look way too bright. Makes it feel a bit cheap IMO. Not a big fan of the nameplate and the silver ring around the whole thing, but they wouldn't bug me as much if the base was darkened up. Like everyone else, I look forward to seeing more shots of this...

...and maybe an Alien or two to accompany it in the future.
