Oh I have done that too. I wait for in-hand the majority of the time. The most recent exceptions have been XM Storm, and Tweeterhead Catwoman, Starfire, Ivy. And that is because the POs dictate the amount to be made and I wasn't going to fight in the aftermarket for them.

Sideshow, I just wait and see. Come on Dejah!!!

I can understand all those reasons And as long as you teach your daughter the kid-friendly versions of the theme/universe the statues fit in, I don't think it would be too off-putting, scaring, or altering for her. She will become diverse and well rounded.

True, and I've dressed all my ARH statues.

Just avoid anything anime + school girl + tentacle......

Once seen, it can't be unseen.....I'm a grown man and those images damaged my cerebral cortex......

That is fantastic!

My mother taught me to appreciate women of all sizes and shapes. I come from a gene pool where I was going to be "naturally endowed" (genes proved correct), so she taught me to be strong and confident, not be ashamed/embarrassed/insecure about my body, and to not take crap from those who can't control their comments and actions (both men and women). I used to get funny looks going into the comic book store, my friends and I joke that I collect statues of only female figures. Can't help that they are the best characters

I imagine raising a kid is harder now because social media is ruthless. I didn't have that growing up - I'm only 40 but the world has quickly gone left. Statues and art might be a safe place and inspirations for her! Just look at the little girls and women who lost their minds for Wonder Woman, Black Widow, and Captain Marvel.

Hence the delay. SS doesn't want the factories they use raising the bar too high. They're sending them back to make them all cross-eyed and worsen the paint jobs.
