I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

X-Men Beast by a mile. Sosa's sculpt still holds up today. Avengers one is ok if u want a smiling/cheesing blue monstorous man. It has a nice base tho

That one hurt buying that one back!

Now I don't feel so bad about selling mine for $240 back in the day lol. Only paid $80 for him off of craigslist. Now I'm looking at ten times that.

Fellow Collectors, can you explain why the real Bowen Bronze pieces such as Batman, Spiderman, Hulk, and Captain America are worth significantly more now? On ebay, its hard enough to find these pieces (particularly Spiderman/hulk) - though there seems to be a few Batman ones. I'm on the look out for Spiderman/Hulk but we are talking maybe 10K+ for one which is deterring.

I think that price point has been there for a while hasn?t it? I?ve never bought one so that may just be the asking price. See what they?ve actually been selling for.

I think that the real Bowen Bronze pieces are now so high because it is real bronze, not faux. Plus, I think the real bronze pieces had a very small run.

Yeah, they've been up there for a while as far as I know. The previous owner of my local comic shop bought one from RB for around 10k from what I remember...not that that would necessarily mirror the market, but they've been around there for some time. Real bronze and a very limited run like mmk mentioned.

Captain Britain seems to still be at a premium asking price even though a lot of Bowens are dipping. Glad I have one just wish BD would have made a Meggan. Can’t really build a decent Excalibur squad.

I have the classic costume Captain Britain bust. I wish they had done a full figure of that costume.
