Licensed statues

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

How do we know if a statue is licensed or not? Is there a definitive way to know from looking at a website listing of a particular piece?

Thanks

The only way I know if it is if it’s from a Statue company. XM, SSC, Diamond..etc.
If it says custom any where it’s not. Also I think there may be a trademark in the description which is usually a tell tale sign it is.

I’m no expert on this , but this is how I usually would tell.

If you can request a picture of the bottom of the base, in my experience the official licensed pieces always have the company logo on the bottom of the base. Also, you can search Google Images for "*character* statue" and if it was a licensed piece, a lot of times the official page for that piece will show up even if it's sold out.
