Do you guys think that Queen Studios would really use a different paint/ application style, different from the full statue?

Absolutely agree when mentioning that the metallic tint transform this bust into a masterpiece

I just rewatched all the Mark 7 scenes and it does have this metallic tint that this seems to possibly be missing. Of course all that was CGI and this is a real life object.

But then again, most Iron Man products have this issue. Rather than looking metallic, most manufacturers have just applied a simple gloss coat to their pieces.
It's called Satin finish btw

Yeah, it's harder to tell how metallic the paint is in photos, but the sheen looks satin or eggshell.

Anybody know what Specfiction's original early bird price for this was?

Is it known whether the Mark 7 or Mark 3 busts will come in one box or two (like the Mark 50)?

Also, was it ever revealed how deep the Mark 7 bust is if you remove the flaps from his back?

Mark 3 is one box, as there are unboxing videos, I'd expect the 7 to be also

It looks like QS pulled the behind the scenes video for this. Does anyone have another link or copy of it?

That's weird, wonder why they did that. The paint looked okay in it I seem to recall, I'd be disappointed if it turned out like the life size statue

To me, it looks like the statue, bust and life size all have the same paint apps.

I'm very pleased with seeing the paint on the statue in hand, so if that's the case, it should be fine.

Well it's confirmed. The Mark 7 bust uses batteries in the head, just like the life size Mark 7 and the Mark 3 bust.
