Starting to get jealous over here. Might have to get her sooner than I planned.

Everyone was saying they saw Natalie Dormer in this, which I don't see, but, weirdly enough, I do see a resemblance to Homelander from Amazon's The Boys. Not that she looks masculine or anything, but rather that she could be his sister. Maybe it's the expression on her face.

Sometimes I wish I was more into DC characters other than Batman rogues and the Marvel Family. Lots of cool PF's for characters that just don't interest me much. This one is gorgeous and her body is killer. Just wouldn't fit in my collection though.

This is one of those statues that a collector needs to buy just based on the execution alone. I've seen this piece in the flesh, and I'm strongly thinking about getting it - it's that good.

I'll put it like this, - it holds its own in a collection surrounded by Queen Studios, Prime1 and JND - I kid you not.....it's that good a piece.

I would never have believed Sideshow could do something this clean. The proportions are prefect, the eyes, the portrait, the body sculpt and the tights...the paint apps - everything.

When I see pieces like this, I reconsider the value of spending $2000+ on JND.

Ha, that's funny because I've always seen the lady that played Crimson Countess in The Boys here.

Here?s mine! I love it! It?s also refreshing to have a statue with no swap outs. Less stuff to make room for.

Nice pics. I actually think the head sculpt and paints are REALLY nice. I just wish the statue was a little more dynamic (but that's just me).

LOADING: Image(s)

Looks like someone decided to have their Sideshow Collectibles Black Canary portrait repainted.
Not me i might add. I thought i would share the results here anyhow

The portrait was repainted by the same South Korean company at fixed the issues (hair and eye's) on my Prime 1 Reika statue.
They are super talented when it comes to painting eye's.

The question is, how will Black Canary's portrait skin color match the rest of the piece?

Also, the lighter hair color appears to expose the roughness of the hair sculpt (1st image)

Edit: The portrait appears to have a hair piece broken/missing from the front.
My guess is, Sideshow sent out a replacement portrait, and the collector thought they may as well try something with the broken portrait.
